What you will experience
The yelbong canyon scramble
Spend 5 to 6 hours navigating a deep limestone gorge. Guided by local river experts with safety helmets and life jackets, wade through chest-deep streams, scramble over boulders, and reach a hidden waterfall.
High ridge forest hike
Trek along the forest buffer zone of neora valley. Walk through pine trails with a local guide, spot mountain birds, hike down to changey waterfall, and explore local cardamom farms.
Stargazing
Stay at a high-altitude ridge far from city lights. Gather on the terrace for a guided stargazing and constellation mapping session using astronomy tools.
Riverbed walk and local food
Start with a riverbed walk along the murti river at rocky island to test your trail footwear. Enjoy fresh, home-cooked mountain meals and evening bonfires.

Brief itinerary
Arrival, pickup, drive to base village, homestay check-in, afternoon riverbed warmup walk, and trail briefing.
Full day yelbong canyon expedition, 5-6 hour scramble, rock pool swimming, hidden waterfall trek, hot lunch, and bonfire.
Mountain transfer up to high-altitude homestay near neora valley, sunset ridge walk, and night sky stargazing.
Guided morning forest hike, changey waterfall trail, local cardamom farm visit, and farewell dinner.
Sunrise mountain views, local breakfast, scenic drive back down, and drop at njp/bagdogra by 3:30 pm.
