Travel overnight to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
Arrive at NJP in the morning and transfer to Sittong–Latpanchar. Travel time is approximately 3 to 4 hours. After checking in to your homestay, meet your host family and begin with a relaxed village introduction walk through the surrounding settlement. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner prepared with your hosts while learning about everyday life in the village. Overnight stay.
Begin the morning with a traditional cooking experience. Learn family recipes, prepare local dishes together and understand the ingredients that define Himalayan home cooking. Following lunch, spend the afternoon walking through the village, interacting with residents and learning about farming practices and local livelihoods. The day concludes with a relaxed storytelling session where hosts share local traditions, memories and community life. Overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast with your host family before a final walk through the village. Spend time saying farewell to the community before departing for NJP. The journey concludes at NJP.
