Fed by Himalayan streams, the rivers of the Dooars shape the forests, valleys and floodplains that define the region.
These transitional landscapes support rich plant life and create excellent environments for gentle nature walks.
Scattered across the foothills, these waterfalls provide peaceful places to pause while exploring the surrounding forests.
Mountain rivers carry rounded stones and gravel downstream, constantly reshaping the landscape with seasonal rainfall.
The forests feature broadleaf trees, bamboo, grasses and seasonal flowering plants that thrive in the humid foothill climate.
Every season transforms the Dooars, from lush monsoon forests to crisp winter mornings with clear mountain views.
