Overnight travel to NJP
Participants travel overnight to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.

A three-day forest and wildlife journey through the Dooars combining guided safari, forest interpretation, riverside landscapes and slow exploration.
Dooars wildlife experience is designed as a forest and wildlife exploration journey rather than a traditional safari package.
The experience combines guided wildlife safaris, forest ecosystems, bird and animal observation, nature interpretation, riverside landscapes and photography into one immersive journey.
Unlike Jaldapara, where the focus is open Terai grasslands and rhino habitat, Dooars offers dense forests, rivers, rich biodiversity and multiple wildlife habitats, creating a balanced nature experience beyond wildlife sightings alone.
Participants travel overnight to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
Arrive at NJP in the morning and transfer to Lataguri or Murti across 75 to 90 km and around 3 to 4 hours of driving. After check-in and lunch, begin with a forest orientation introducing the landscapes and biodiversity of the Dooars. Later, enjoy a riverside nature experience around the Murti river followed by local exploration. In the evening, visit a scenic viewpoint for a sunset landscape experience and receive a briefing for the next day's wildlife activities.
Begin early with a wildlife safari through one of the protected forest zones such as Gorumara National Park or Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary. Spend around 2 to 3 hours exploring the forest, spotting wildlife and photographing the landscape. Possible sightings include elephants, gaur, deer species, wild boar and birds depending on season. Continue in the afternoon with a guided forest interpretation walk, followed by additional bird and wildlife observation and either a second safari or another forest experience depending on availability.
After breakfast, begin the final morning with a relaxed riverside exploration and short nature walk. Spend time appreciating the landscapes before departing for NJP. Travel time is around 3 to 4 hours. The journey concludes at NJP.
