Overnight travel to NJP
Participants travel overnight to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.

A four-day forest exploration journey through Buxa Tiger Reserve centred on biodiversity, dense forests, guided trails, birdlife and remote landscapes.
Buxa wildlife experience is designed as a forest exploration journey rather than a safari-only trip.
Unlike Jaldapara, which focuses on open grasslands and rhino habitat, or Dooars, which combines forests with safari experiences, Buxa offers an immersive wilderness experience centred around biodiversity, dense forests, guided trails, birdlife and remote landscapes.
The emphasis is not on tiger sightings but on understanding one of North Bengal's richest forest ecosystems through slow exploration, nature interpretation and wildlife observation.
Participants travel overnight to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
Arrive at NJP in the morning and transfer to the Buxa region across 180 km and around 5 to 6 hours of driving. After check-in, begin with a forest orientation introducing the biodiversity and landscapes of Buxa Tiger Reserve. Spend the afternoon exploring nearby riverside landscapes before a sunset experience. In the evening, the trip coordinator introduces the activities planned for the coming days.
Begin early with the Buxa forest safari and spend 2 to 3 hours exploring the forest while observing wildlife, landscapes and birdlife. Possible sightings include elephants, gaur, deer species, wild boar and numerous forest birds. Continue in the afternoon with a guided forest trail focused on biodiversity, native flora and ecosystem interpretation. The evening is free for relaxed exploration or landscape photography.
Begin with the Buxa Fort nature trail and spend the morning walking through mountain forests while observing birds, native vegetation and changing landscapes. Although the trail passes the historic Buxa Fort, the focus remains on the surrounding forest ecosystem and nature experience. After lunch, continue with a riverside exploration designed for photography, wildlife observation and slow immersion in the landscape.
Breakfast at the stay, then depart for NJP with a travel time of around 5 to 6 hours. The journey concludes at NJP.
